Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.

Relay For Life in Gwinnett is the largest in the country due to the overwhelming efforts of many people including you. Fighting cancer is worth all our efforts. Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. The American Cancer Society is the largest source of private not-for-profit cancer research funds and has funded 39 Nobel Prize Laureates. 1.3 Million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Of these, only 850,000 will survive.

Thank you for joining me in May for an unforgettable evening!  Thanks to the support of our community, we raised over 2.5 Million dollars and more is coming in!
